The earth

When we read Gospels, it is easy to become lost in what is said and the reason for this is, “language and customs barriers”. When we read from the holy books above, we need to consider how the culture of the timeframe formed the mold for books. It is for this reason, I believe anyway, that we have misunderstandings and differences of opinion. Because these books were written from a cultural standpoint, we cannot take the words and mangle them into 21st-century thinking because, when we do, we give birth to theories and theologies that cause more harm than good.

My encouragement to you my readers is that you will spend time with the Holy book of your choice to study it and decipher the truth from the lie. If we do not study the word and take things at face value, we become disillusioned because the promises didn’t occur in our lives even though we lived up to the commands to the best of our abilities. Equally, we give birth to mixed-up theologies and we preach it, testify to it without once considering that we could be wrong.

I pray for you my reader that you will be blessed today by what I said and encourage you in the words of Paul

Study and do your best to present yourself to G_d-approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth. But avoid all irreverent babble and godless chatter [with its profane, empty words], for it will lead to further ungodliness, and their teaching will spread like gangrene (2 Timothy 2:15-17).
