Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture
and the sheep of his hand.
Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah,
as on the day at Massah in the wilderness,
when your fathers put me to the test
and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work. Psalms 95:6-9
When the Lord first found us, we were not as we are now after His cleansing blood, we were broken, empty, and abandoned by the world system that led us. The Lord freed us from our bondage and set us a course that would take us to our inheritance. When the nation left Egypt, there were people interspersed among the tribes that had enjoyed the fruit of the land of Egypt at the expense of the nation. These people would serve to be instigators and would make Egypt seem like a veritable oasis compared to the sparse land we were traveling through. The desert terrain was not flowing wi “milk and honey” but the journey wasn’t over and the people needed to be patient and see it through. The reason the people were referred to as “Sheep” was that they would follow whatever shepherd stood up to lead them all that person would need was a Shepherd’s Staff. It is for this reason that we need the Lord and needs to listen to Him until our journey is over.
For thousands of years, you have led people, met their needs, and healed them along the way. The Devil is an instigator who tells us what we are missing because of foolishly listening to You. I know all too well that listening to Your voice is not foolishness. I pray that my Spiritual ears will always be open to hearing your voice and my Spiritual eyes are awake and waiting for you all of my life. I pray for my world today that your peace is upon us. Please help these writings to be a continual source of encouragement. My world is at War Lord and my nation is walking the course of the world’s ways. We need you today more than ever Lord. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus that you will continue to send encouragement that they remain strong against the enemy. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
