Daily Psalm 2/27/2022

I hate those who pay regard to worthless idols,
but I trust in the LORD.
I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love
because you have seen my affliction;
you have known the distress of my soul,
and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy;
you have set my feet in a broad place. Psalms 31:6-8

When we are tempted by sin, the Devil’s minions tell us “no one will know” and “everyone does it”. By justifying our actions, we lie to ourselves so that we do not come to the Lord sort of like Adam and Eve. The Lord knows the struggles we have with sin’s influence and does not brush it off like one would a fly. Instead, He calls us to himself and provides a way out so that we do not capitulate. When we sin, like David did, He helps us to pick up the pieces of our broken hearts and puts them back together again without shaking his head, judging, and/or condemning us. In the same way, when other people sin against us, we need to take a page out of this book and apply it to our lives so that we can face whatever comes against us.

Father,

Sin is not the end of the matter, it is the beginning of a new chapter. We have no power nor authority to alter the spin of the world, the sun, and/or moon but we do have control over our hearts. I pray for my world today Lord, especially what is going on in Ukraine that there be a resolution and quickly. I pray for my families and friends as well as those enduring the struggle with COVID. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).

Daily Psalm 2/26/2022

For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me;
you take me out of the net they have hidden for me,
for you are my refuge.
Into your hand I commit my spirit;
you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful G-d. Psalms 31:3-5

we have choices in life, we can be part of the problem or part of the solution, we can be a Joshua or a Pontius Pilate. When Jesus said, “into Your hands, I commit my Spirit”, he was saying “my Spirit is not tainted by sin and my actions have been consistent with Your word”. when we have sinned before G-d, we can either remain beaten or accept Jesus’ offer and have our soul cleansed by the blood. like Peter, each of us has done things that we are not proud of. The thing is, we can let those things beat us up or use them as a diving board to freedom from the bonds of sin.

Father,

Undoubtedly, no one is without sin, and nor has anyone, except Jesus, made it through life without sinning. Lord may what I do today please you and may I let go of every sin and chains that hold me bound. Your greatest desire this Easter Season is that we are free from sin’s entanglements. I pray especially over the war going on in Ukraine that you will bring this battle to the expected end; please watch over the people in Europe and the world at large. I pray for those who are negatively impacted by COVID and the Omicron. Daily Psalm for 2/24/2022

In you, O LORD, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me!
Incline your ear to me;
rescue me speedily!
Be a rock of refuge for me,
a strong fortress to save me Psalms 31:1-2

In life, we make many journies some more uphill than others. Some of our journies begin with a side-step that gets into trouble. Unfortunately, getting through life without offending someone is a lot harder than we think it is; The reason is, people perceive situations differently and for that reason become offended at a hint of impropriety. For this reason, we need the Cross and the Law to help us navigate the treacherous waters.

Father,

You are the same G-d who called Abram from Ur of the Chaldeans, Jacob from Padan-Aram, Moses to Egypt, David through the tremendous errors he made, and Jesus to the Cross. These men trusted in you and You never failed them despite their “oops” and “yikes” so I am confident that you can lead me through whatever waters I find myself in. I pray for my family and for those enduring struggles with the loss of life and illnesses. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/22/2022

Depart from me, all you workers of evil,
for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
The LORD has heard my plea;
the LORD accepts my prayer.
All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled;
they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment. Psalms 6:8-10

The song “Waterloo” talks about the one event that breaks down our will. For David, it was Bathsheba. After Uriah was killed David was given a choice of his punishment and he chose that the destruction is upon himself and his family. Once the pristine image of his family was shattered, David spent the rest of his life dealing with one struggle after another beginning with the death of his son. When we ask the Lord G-d for forgiveness, the “bloodguilt” is atoned for meaning, we will not die a 2nd time. However, that does not stop the enemy of our soul from trying to torment us by reminding us of our failure(s).

Father,

Sin is a blight but it doesn’t present itself as such at first. The Devil uses clever wording to confuse us. For this reason, help me to carefully consider my choices and actions that I do not displease you. You give me full control of my life and my choices, You will never hold me under your thumb like the Devil does because you want me to feel free in Your Holy presence and not be like Adam and Eve or like David or Solomon. Holy Spirit my teacher, counselor, and friend may you never find just cause for removing yourself from my life, and may your teachings be my guiding principles. I pray for your hedge of protection about my family and families, friends, and nation. I pray especially for those enduring illnesses. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/21/2022

I am weary with my moaning;
every night I flood my bed with tears;
I drench my couch with my weeping.
My eye wastes away because of grief;
it grows weak because of all my foes. Psalms 6:6-7

The purpose of courting is for the couple to find out about each other that is, “who is this person I am bordering on a relationship with”. It is not hard to believe that even the smartest individual can be deceived by lies whether they be “little white ones” or “bold-faced lies”. The same can be said of our common enemy the “Devil”. It is my firm belief that if David had put considerable thought into the consequences of his actions and the way it would negatively impact his family and the Kingdom, he would have turned on his heels the second he saw Bathsheba in the tub. Many a man and/or woman has/have played the “shoulda, coulda, and woulda” games all the while drowning their sorrows while crying out for forgiveness and hearing silence.

Father,

Sin is a terrible thing because it doesn’t care who or what it hurts. While this prayer is beautiful and you hear our cries, repentance, forgiveness, and healing will take as much time as you see that we need. Please help me to carefully scrutinize my actions and words that I may order my days upright. I pray for my families and for those who are struggling with pains and sorrows in their lives and families. I pray especially for those dealing with COVID and other health issues. Please prepare us for the Easter festival. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. Daily Psalm for 2/20/2022

Turn, O LORD, deliver my life;
save me for the sake of your steadfast love.
For in death, there is no remembrance of you;
in Sheol who will give you praise? Psalms 6:4-5

When we are in the throes of sin, we relish it and think the fun will never end. Then one day we wake up, just as we have before, and face a new world in which the joy has vanished and fear sets in. Sir Anthony Hopkins speaking to acting students who wanted to be rich and famous, said: “that once you reach the top of the tree, you will find it all to be a lie”. In the same way, when we walk on Sin’s ground, we think we are in charge only to find ourselves to be the victims of a vicious joke meant for our demise.

Father,

A sin is a tool of the Devil and he knows how to use it, how much pressure to put on us, and just when to pull the lever. Help us as we approach Easter to put sin in its place and replace it with your grace. Please help me to let go of every sin and the things that entangle my soul that I may walk in you all of the days of my life. I pray for my families that you will watch over them whether they are near or far, in Your camp or the Devil’s, and that these families may find peace in You.

I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/19/2022

O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger,
nor discipline me in your wrath.
Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing;
heal me, O LORD, for my bones, are troubled.
My soul also is greatly troubled.
But you, O LORD—how long? Psalms 6:1-3

This Psalm and five others are “Penitential Psalms” or Psalms asking for forgiveness. The thing is, David was going through something in his life probably in the fall out from Bathsheba. Many of you can probably testify that you have walked with the Lord all of your life until the moment you had an encounter with your Bathsheba. The Lord loves you whether you are enjoying sunshine and showers of blessing or guilt is riddling holes in your life. Part of the whole reasoning behind retelling stories like David’s epic failure was to encourage you to overcome whatever you are facing past, present, and future. As we prepare for the Easter season, my prayer is that you will find the courage to bring your Bathsheba incident to the throne of mercy to receive forgiveness.

Father,

I wish with all of my heart that sin would not kill another person but, that’s not possible in this world. Today, many people are in the throes of Hell and are struggling to find some sort of direction. I pray for these people that this season is a time of release, reset, and encouragement. I pray for my families and for those who are dealing with illness, pain, and sorrow. Especially I pray for those who have lost loved ones over the past year that this is the season that weight is lifted off of their backs. Daily Psalm for 2/17/2022

G-d is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains are moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah Psalms 46:1-3

One of the most difficult concepts to get through our thick heads is, “Do not lose faith in the Lord G-d of your salvation”. When we turn our backs to sin and accept the Lord’s forgiveness, we start on a journey that will lead us from where are to where the Lord wants us to be. When we say “no” to the Devil, he will turn the heat up by altering our surroundings and making us feel “hopeless” and ultimately surrender. I encourage you to hang in there and not lose hope because the Lord wants you to know today that the storms you are facing are about to break and the joy you have will not be taken from you.

Father,

As a nation, we are being deluged with the problems with COVID, fear, and war. I know that his time is short so he is going to put there everything he can in hopes to garner support. I pray for my nation and families that the blood of your son is poured upon her. You are my refuge and strength my very present help in times of trouble. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/16/2022

O LORD, how many are my foes!
Many are rising against me;
many are saying of my soul,
“There is no salvation for him in God. Selah
But you, O LORD, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head.
I cried aloud to the LORD,
and he answered me from his holy hill. Psalms 3:1-4

Sin is a tragedy not only for the people we hurt by our choices but for ourselves and family as well. Repentance does not make what we did “mysteriously disappear”, it brings the problem into the open so that healing and restoration can commence. The Lord may forget our sins but mankind will not forget so easily. No matter what we go through as a direct result of our actions, the Lord will go with us and help us to navigate the treacherous waters.

Father,

It would be in our best interests to never sin but in this world, it is not feasible. David is not the first man to sin and he won’t be the last. For this reason, we need your grace and we need to extend it. Help me to let go of the hurts and pains people have caused me along the pathways of my life that when I am in need of your grace, You will not withhold it from me. I pray for my families today that you will watch over each and every one of them. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. Daily Psalm for 2/15/2022

O you who love the LORD, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the righteous,
and joy for the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous,
and give thanks to his holy name! Psalms 97:10-12

You will notice in the first line “hate evil” is not stated as “hate the wicked person”. We need to repel those things from our lives that we know are harmful. We have no power nor authority to stop people from being wicked but we can be the light that pulls them from the darkness. For us to propel light, it has to come from within us with works to back up our claim.

Father,

Thank you for your word that lights our pathway. When we walk in the light, Your light shines through us (John 8:31-32). My prayer is that no matter what I face that I keep my eyes on you. Jesus thank you for your amazing gift of salvation. May the story of my life encourage others in their walk. I pray for my family and those who are enduring struggles today. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/11/2022

Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law, he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:1-2

When we walk in obedience to the Lord and listen for His counsel, He directs us around the traps that will take us down. In every walk of life, there are scoffers decrying stances partly because they believe “their way is the only way”. The thing is, “scoffing” is not limited to the world’s ways but is also seen in religious circles. In the days following Pentecost, Saul was a scoffer decrying the foolishness of believing anything about the Risen Lord. When he came in contact with the Risen Lord, his viewpoint was drastically altered as he considered the truth of the Word. Today I want to ask you a simple question, “are you Saul sitting with the religious but living a life of sin”? If so, may the Lord meet you where you are and lead you in the pathway of truth.

Father,

The easiest thing in the world to do is “scoff at what we do not know”. You want more from us than for us to sit on a post scoffing as the Lord moves onward. It is a bitter pill to swallow finding out that our way is not necessarily Your way and that what we believe is a lie. Please be with those who need a special touch from You. I pray for my family today for your blessing upon each and every one of them. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/11/2022

O you who love the LORD, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the righteous,
and joy for the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous,
and give thanks to his holy name! Psalms 97:10-12

When the Pharisees told Jesus to castigate his people for singing “Hosanna to the King who comes in the name of the Lord”, he said, “I tell you if these people keep silent, the rocks and hills will continue to cry out” (Luke 19:39-40). Here’s the thing, if we refuse to praise the Lord for what he has done in and through our lives, someone will and we’ll lose His blessings. In the same way when we take His blessings for granted like “they will always remain”, one day we’ll wake up and find them gone. The enemy of our soul, the Devil of old, will tell us “you earned ____, why should you give G-d the credit?”. The reason we give G-d the credit is two-fold, “every good and perfect thing comes from Him” (James 1:17), and “what He asks of us, He also provides the resources (Philippians 1:6). Praising the Lord and honoring His word is more than a song, it is a way of life that is paved by obedience (John 14:15-17).

Father,

You do so much in and through my life that if I were to number them, it would be beyond comprehension. The thing is, when I do not praise you or even consider what you have done, you will do no more until I come to my senses. The reason for this is, “You give your glory to no one including me” (Isaiah 42:8). You bless us not for your benefit but for ours. You desire great things for our lives but when our eyes are not on you, we fall woefully short. I pray for this nation Lord for your forgiveness and mercy. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 2/6/2022

My steadfast love, I will keep for him forever,
and my covenant will stand firm for him.
I will establish his offspring forever
and his throne as the days of the heavens.
If his children forsake my law
and do not walk according to my rules,
if they violate my statutes
and do not keep my commandments,
then I will punish their transgression with the rod
and their iniquity with stripes,
but I will not remove from him my steadfast love
or be false to my faithfulness.
I will not violate my covenant
or alter the word that went forth from my lips. Psalms 89:28-34

David was promised an “enduring kingdom” early in his reign because he was faithful to the Lord from the early days of his youth. Having faith in the Lord is not a mere “thought process”, it is a conviction that will carry us through the storms. David taught his children the laws of the Lord and lived according to them until he met his waterloo and that being Bathsheba. Although he was admonished for his sins and punished, David never lost faith in the Lord. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren suffered for their sins and were punished accordingly. Loving someone is not equated to “glossing over sin”. True love leaves a door open for the repentant one to return sort of like the case of Jon Mark.

Father,

You love us despite where we are or the direction we are taking. You have an open doorway for us to return when if we want to. Discipline is the part of love that no one likes but it is a very important part of our growth. Please help me today to live for you in all that I do. May you be with those who are struggling today and that these words be an encouragement to them. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm for 2/5/2022

The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their roaring.
Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the LORD on high is mighty! Psalms 93:3-4

There is an inevitability about life and that is, “we will have troubles and storms will destroy even the strongest”. . Having faith in the Lord is an important element in life. When storms come, at first it doesn’t seem too bad and we think we can endure it because “the Lord this in hand”. Then, the storms grow worst and our house shakes and our covering is ripped away and we think “where is G-d?”. When our world has been shattered into tiny pieces we think, “There is no G-d!” and we cave in to anger and bitterness like Naomi. Dutch Resistance worker, CorrieTenBoom had put her life on the line in support of the Jewish people and for her native land against Hitler. She could have become as bitter and resentful as the evil that pervaded her nation. But listen to her words: No pit is so deep that God is not deeper still“ (Corrie TenBoom).

Father,

Thank you for the storms that come to challenge our faith. I have come to know that you do not deliver us out of storms, you deliver us through storms. You do not remove the evil, you help us to conquer it and turn it from the darkness to the light. Please watch over those today who are enduring storms that are riddling their lives and leaving holes in their world. May this website ever be used for your glory. I pray for my families today that you would put a hedge of protection about them.

Daily Psalm for 2/4/2022

“Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him because he knows my name.
When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
With long life, I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.” Psalms 91:14-16

This Psalm, which is accredited to Moses and is sung at Sabbath, is often recited or sung at funerals to comfort those who are in mourning. Many of you are going through immense struggles over death, mourning for your wayward child, or being persecuted for your faith. Whatever it is you are going through, I encourage you to take hold of the horns of the altar until you feel the release. The Lord wants you to know today that no matter what you are going through, you will get through it and be all that much stronger for it. The Lord’s salvation is not just for “sweet by and by” but for where you are right now.

Father,

Today is the day that you have chosen for us to be free (). Every situation we face feels like it will be the one to do us in and then, the sun comes out and the clouds clear away. You nor Your word minimizes our pains and suffering. You know what we are going through and you send your Angels to stand around to hold us up until we can stand on our feet again. May the water of Your Spirit, the blood of Jesus, and Your word stand round about those who need a special touch from you today. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Daily Psalm 2/3/2022

LORD, you were favorable to your land;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave the iniquity of your people;
you covered all their sin. Selah
You withdrew all your wrath;
you turned from your hot anger.
Restore us again, O God of our salvation,
and put away your indignation toward us!
Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger to all generations?
Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your steadfast love, O LORD,
and grant us your salvation. Psalms 85:1-7

When you read the Word of G-d, you will notice that it talks about people that had everything going for them but they still wanted something else; David was one of those people. After having Bathsheba’s husband put to death by the sword of the Ammonites, David’s life was irrevocably changed. The child that Bathsheba conceived died shortly after its birth. After the child passed, the wheels started coming off of the axels with his son Amnon raping his brother Absalom’s sister Tamar. Later, Amnon was killed by David’s sons and the coup de gras was Absalom’s attempted coup. So you see two worlds one is blessed by the Lord and the other is not. When we sin, whatever we accomplished before the sin needs to be forgotten because you start from where you are. It is for this reason that we are admonished to be “Holy before the Lord” so that we do not have to pray this prayer. Will we be forgiven when we ask, for it? Absolutely.

Father,

As I look at the life of David and his son, I know that you have plans for our lives and that you will be faithful. You don’t call me to be a “perfect specimen”, you call me to honor you in all that I say and do. It would be better if we never had to pray this prayer than to have to pray it and wait for you. For this reason, please help me to keep these things in view as I make decisions about my life and that of my family. Help me daily to remember to put on all of the weapons of warfare and to above all wear the ephod that I will remember those I serve or who rely on me. Daily Psalm for 2/1/2022

I will sing of steadfast love and justice;
to you, O LORD, I will make music.
I will ponder the way that is blameless.
Oh, when will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
I will not set before my eyes
anything that is worthless.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil. Psalms 101:1-4

Walking with integrity is easier said than done. The reason for that is, we have a common enemy called the “Devil of old”, our families, and our peer groups which try to talk us into things we may or may not agree with. Part of the reason Jesus said, “I come to bring a sword …” (Matthew 10:34-36) is that when we told our families about our conversion, age-old traditions stand in the way of victory. Reading the Word of G-d is free but applying its teachings will cost you everything. For this reason, Jesus said, “Count the cost …” (Luke 14:25-33).

Father,

As I come before you today armed with your Word, please help me to count the cost of every mission you send me on. I want to be obedient all of the time but I falter in many areas of my life. I know that you forgive my failures, but I don’t want to live only 1/2 of the whole you have in mind for me. Help me to daily surrender those areas of my life that run awry of your commands. May I what I do today be pleasing to you my Lord, my Redeemer, my Judge, and the G-d I seek to serve. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Daily Psalm 1/30/2022

Oh sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth!
Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day-to-day (all of the time).
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Psalms 96:1-6

Singing a new song means that we are changing our tune from “I am defeated” to “I am alive”. When we walk in the shadow of defeat and brokenness, we are unable to hear His voice speaking to our hearts. Consider COVID19 how it has destroyed many people over the course of the pandemic. As long as we have our eyes on its devastation, we will always wonder “am I next?”. When our eyes are on the cure, we find ways to protect ourselves and feel good about getting back together. In the same way when our eyes are on the Lord, the clouds of depression and anxiety lift and we find hope for our day.

Father,

Thank you for the glorious power of the cross of Calvary. It is the place where lives are restored, relationships are healed, and communities are restored. Help me today to sing a new song and that the lyrics speak to my heart and mind. I pray for those who are enduring great struggles today that they would receive fresh bread from the altar. Daily Psalm for 1/29/2022

But I, O LORD, cry to you;
in the morning my prayer comes before you.
O LORD, why do you cast my soul away?
Why do you hide your face from me?
Afflicted and close to death from my youth up,
I suffer your terrors; I am helpless.
Your wrath has swept over me;
your dreadful assaults destroy me.
They surround me like a flood all day long;
they close in on me together.
You have caused my beloved and my friend to shun me;
my companions have become darkness. Psalms 88:13-18

The Devil, as the master salesman that he is, puts on a presentation to get his pawn to buy into the offer. If someone is with us trying to talk us out of action, the Devil will play that person against us. Unfortunately, the bill will come when we least expect it. Once we buy into the plan, our world is altered in a way we do not expect. While there are prayers that move our hearts, nothing compares to living free of sin’s entanglements.

Father,

Sin is a real part of our world. The Devil is not a dimwhit nor is he is foolish. This entity knows what it is doing and has no compunction. Those that followed the Devil paid the ultimate price for their actions. You, on the other hand, desire great things from us not because you think we are “so perfect” but because you have invested a tremendous amount of time into building us. When tempted, help me to pull down the window shades of my heart and turn my eyes to your Word. Daily Psalm 1/27/2022

The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all the peoples see his glory.
All worshipers of images are put to shame,
who make their boast in worthless idols;
worship him, all you gods! Psalms 97:6-7

When I look to the heavens and see all that G-d has made, everything within me praises Him. From the perspective of the heavens, we see that we are not all that big in fact, we are about the size of a grasshopper. Nothing in heaven or on earth is haphazardly placed except for the work that man did. The funny part is that G-d never gave an image of himself for mankind to worship. Instead, He gave us His qualities and attributes through the Holy Spirit.

Father,

You are the G-d of order and discipline. Everything that we see on earth and in the heavens was made by you. You own this world and everything in it. Because of that, I know that only you can heal the world. For thousands of years, mankind has walked this earth and have passed away leaving only relics for future generations to see. While we are alive Lord you give us the power and authority to steward the land you have given us. Help me today to properly steward what you have given me that I may have a gift to return to you and one to leave for my children. I pray for those that are still dealing with COVID and the variants that you would send your balm in Gilead to heal them. Idols have no power to do anything more than be dust collectors. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today.
